We are so excited to be Celebrating over 600 Fans on Facebook with a giveaway this week! A couple of weeks ago I put a poll on Facebook and the hands down winner was a cookie decorating supply set. So we thought we would do a Valentine’s Day theme. Cookie decorating does not have to be as daunting as you might think. There are some easy ways to make cute cookies for friends, family or your favorite “likers”!
There are so many amazing dessert artists to follow on Facebook, so thank you for ”liking” our page and following our baking adventures. We love reading your fun comments and feedback to our site. It is so much fun to be able to share my creations with each of you. So for our giveaway, I want to arm you with some easy tools to make some cute cookies for Valentine’s Day.
So here are few of my favorite things for our “Celebrating over 600 Fans on Facebook” party:
- 10 KopyKake disposable decorating bags
- 1 Set of Americolor Food Coloring Pens
- 1 Ateco Rectangle Cookie Cutter Set
- 1 Heart Cookie Cutter
- 1 Wilton No. 2 Decorating Tip
- 2 Decorative Valentine’s Day Stamps
- 1 Valentine’s Day Dish Towel
There are so many fun and easy things you can do with these tools. You can make fun hearts with all sorts of different designs and patterns. Stamps are a great medium for creating easy designs. All you have to do is color the back of the stamps with the Americolor pens and then stamp away on the cookie. Another fun product that has hit the market is Wilton’s Dab-N-Color for cake stamps. This a great activity for a kids party. You can have different paper plates with the multiple colors and then they can use their favorite stamp to decorate their cookies.

I have loved to bake since I was a little girl but it wasn't until recently that it became a full time pursuit. The Baked Equation was born as a way to raise funds for our charity, Micah 6:8 Sudan. When we had our oldest daughter we agreed that Valentine’s would no longer just be about the two of us. My husband and I make the day from breakfast to dinner about love, and our family. Seeing the girls understand appreciating and loving each other is absolutely my favourite part! That and all the pink!
